Our workshops are designed to create a balance between the medical and the emotional approaches to childbirth, supporting both the eastern and western models of healthcare.
At the Mindful Mama Co. we aim to teach education that supports you to make decisions that sit comfortably with your own unique personality.
For a calm birth experience, join our “Pregnancy Wellness” workshop. Each week enjoy some relaxing downtime with our experienced yoga instructor. She will help you to understand the yoga poses for “optimal fetal positioning” setting the mood for the second half of the workshops, your Antenatal Education.
Loosing your identity and feelings of isolation are the two biggest problems that mothers face with a newborn. We are offering a space for healing, connection and restoration. In our “After the Birth” workshop you will learn the art of baby massage, infant touch, yoga and breastfeeding management. Our space is a supportive mothers group, providing a safe place to talk openly about your birth experience.
My expertise as a midwife and lactation consultant will provide you with evidence based information and my role as a midwife at GCUH will keep you informed with up to date information regarding policy’s and procedures.
